Discount? What are you wanting to pay? You have Brembo kits starting at 9K, you have the Veloce kit starting at 5K https://mbworld.org/forums/new-s-cla...-specials.html with non standard pads that will be hard to find, and you have MBenzNL offering a complete setup for 2.3K and you want a discount? You better hope MBenzNL doesn't run out as E-Class owners over in europe are upgrading their cars to these brakes. This has got to be one of the best deals I have ever seen for genuine Mercedes Benz parts.

I know they are a good price but it doesn't hurt to ask.

if you are interested in such a set of brakes - you shoudn't wait too long...the 4 sets on that picture are already gone...out of the next badge of 4 sets that I bought, I only have 2 sets left (at the moment)

and knowing how much the package actually weighs and what fedex actually charged me, it is not likely that we will ever send another set of brakes for that price to the US...unless we can combine 2 or 3 sets of brakes shipped to 1 address.

Well, I'm sure that there is someone in this planet that can get us the same set for less than that price. So if any one can get us the part numbers I will search in the Middle East and in Europe as well.

Quote: Sorry I don't have a parts list I can cut and Paste, no need to really as MBenzNL has everything packaged and ready to go, and I don't think you will find this kit cheaper anywhere else on the Planet. MBenzNL's parts list which works for me is "4 Calipers, 2 sets of Pads, 4 Rotors, Wear Indicators, 8 bolts).

Question for Steve, can the upgrade brakes accept bigger rotors? I've seen the Brembo equivilant to the calipers with a 405 mm rotor, can that be done?

Quote: See the First page of bulletins.

DTB - P-B-42.10/68a APR06 - Brake Squeal

Revised brake pads will be installed along with brake paste applied to backing plates and corresponding mating surfaces within the brake caliper.

If repair is done in conjunction with other brake service, the parts can be claimed to warranty: Brake pads front, part # A004 420 80 20 (entered production as of 12/9/05), Brake pads rear, part # A000 423 02 30.

I had this Bulletin done within the 1st year I had my car, and it was covered under warranty, not sure if they will still do this past 1 year. I think it depends on your Service Advisor.
Ha, thanks. I went to the dealer today and told them about this bulletin. There is a revised version already from 2009 with some different parts. I'm going to stop by next week to see if they can replace the parts under warranty and if not, I will order the set from MBenzNL.
There is one thing though, what is the minimum wheel diameter for S600 brakes? I sold my 19" and bought 17" for the sake of comfort and non-flashiness.

Ok Irrieblue, it's been some time since you did the brakes. Now how is the dust with those pads over the old ones?

Unfortunately the brake dust buildup is as bad as with the stock brakes/pads, you quickly forget about that though every time you press the brakes .

Funny how 22" wheels can make the S63 Twin sliding calipers look "girly"

One can only wonder why Mercedes uses fixed Calipers (push on both sides of Rotor) on their performance cars, and Twin Sliding (push on one side) on their Luxo barges..

After my last visit to Germany last week I found a shop that have an OEM mercedes parts. I did ordered a Designo color comfort headrest + S65 wheels, after that I asked him about breaks. He said that he want VIN+ names of parts Or part numbers. So can you please give me the name of all the parts and quantities we need to upgrade to Euro S600 ? and I will work on the price with him

Unfortunately I do not have part numbers. Your best bet would be to send an email to "MBenzNL.com" <mbenznl@gmail.com> .

When I do need to get pads, I will hopefully just need SL63 components.
