Rear Brake Lights

Am told that changing a rear brake light/lamp involves a whole set of wiring , instead the bulb itself... Can anyone advice? Where can you get technical proepr manual for a 550-S 2007 model ? are these existing in the reg market ? Kot

Are you asking to change the bulbs only or is it the whole taillight housing you are referring to?

Nope. ONLY the bulb. A warning sign comes at the dash "Rt Hand Tail lamp/Brake lamp - bulb support" . Am told at MB that its a 100$ bulb EACH (x2) and a printed circuit wiring that comes with it 100$ each ( X 2).. Total 400$ . And Am wondering why cant a simple bulb exchange take place.... like in any other car.... . Thanks
