iphone glovebox charger
Just picked up 2008 s550 sport - iphone integration works, but will not charge - is there a replacement cable that I can have installed to do the trick? Hate to have an extra cable hanging out of a cig lighter.....

Welcome! I am not sure of the answer, but I know on the 2010 cars there is an updated plug that will allow for charging. I don't know if it is the same for a 2008 though...

Apple changed the charging system and as such, MBUSA claims they are not responsible and will not honor warranty replacement per bulletin LI82.60-P-047990. MB replacement part is 67824577 (for comparison shopping, https://www.getmercedesparts.com/oem...des-parts.html $41.25). Depending on your relationship with dealer, they may offer to goodwill replacement.
