I have a '08 S550 with multi-countour/dynamic seats. I have been having some issues with the seats for some time.

1) The driver seat: The right bolster of the Drive Dynamic seat will not fully deflate after making left turns. It will after time (a day of so) fully deflate, until I drive it again, then will have the same issue. The left bolster of the drivers seat works fine.

2) Front passanger seat: The Shoulder Bolster will not fully deflate when turning the dial to "0". There is a constant "lump" there, not comfortable.
This works fine on the driver's seat.


I had this issue when my car was in for service about 3 months ago. The dealer said he loaded the "latest" software upgrade for the seats. The issues above went away for a couple of weeks, but now I have the exact same issue.

Is anyone experienceing a similar problem? I would like to know what to tell my dealer, as I am tired of this issue.

Yes, sometimes the drive dynamic resets to O after I set it to 2.
Sometimes the other seat settings flip back to O as well.
...will have the dealer check it out...
