Maintenance Plan
Many MB Dealers are pushing these plans since it a good source of revenue for them and is pre-paid. I recommend you do an analysis of how many miles you drive per year which translates into how many services you will need and compare non prepaid service cost to prepaid.
Since you are searching for a CPO car, which comes with 1 year warranty or up to 100K miles, I highly recommend you buy an extended one up to 3 years for it. The maintenance is not that expensive but repair costs are.
IN Southern California which has lots of dealers with most of them price matching, someone offers "A" service for $129 to $150 every couple of months. "B" service is typically $100 more.
There also is an additional cost for brake fluid change every cou0ple of years and transmission fluid change.
Those in other parts of the country pay several HUNDRED dollars more for these services.
