S500 - A kind of "click" under the driver seat

hi everybody,

I am french and I just bought a 2006 S500.

I guess this model is fully equivalent to S550 US model.

I have under the driver seat from time to time (during acceleration, braking, changing direction) a kind of "click" as if it was a noisy Relay sound.

I have no option "MultiContour dynamic", but I wonder if the sensor of this option is not present, even when the option is not there.

This noise is not related to the holes in the road, which makes me think rather than it could be a relay noise.

FYI, this car with this engine is a real pleasure (Update of all computers made).

All ideas will be welcome, i don't know how to begin with this pb.

Sincerely,
Didier.

My car had similar problem. Dealer fixed it by putting some oil under the seat. I don't exactly know where but it was fixed after.

Thanks a lot to answer, and if you could remember where exactly under the seat, i guess it could help me.

I have had two noises. The first turned out to be a Leatherman tool sliding around in the storage compartment. I would make sure the compartment is empty and see if the noise goes away. The second was a creak coming from the left seat back hinge. I took the covers off the side of the seat and hit it with some white litheum greese while reclining/moving forward the seat back. That solved the noise...

This clicking noise is documented and part of TSB.
