Our New 2010 S550 !
 

Hey Guys we Just picked up our new 2010 S550.

It has a pretty cool color that is really difficult to photograph: Designo Platinum Black. I'm sure most of you have seen it, but it is just awesome.

As far as the options go:

I wanted rear seat, but I'm glad I got this one, the paint just makes this car beautiful, and it was better than the lease payment I hoped for:)!

Those dubs do make a difference, I notice that over the 19" AMG rims.

Also, and no offense at all, but the pics don't do the paint job justice! To me, it looks black!

Very nice, how different is the designo black paint vs the standard paint ?

Thanks! and I know, we used to live in Chicago, I'd get a ticket monthly until I placed the front plates back on! Now I don't need to!

From a visual prespective, it's very tough to picture, but the car is really a completely different color, two or three different times during the day. It varies from a dark grey metallic during the morning to a metallic black in the evening.

Honestly, the color is just unreal. And compared to our last S-class it has much much much more gloss; it's a true eye catcher--Lot's of depth to it.

I've honestly been asked atleast once a day-- about the color. Very cool looking, I wish I could photograph it better.

Also, I'm not sure on the validity of this, but according to by dealer the regular S class paint comes with about 5-6 coats of paint, but a Designo Paint job comes with 10-11 coats. I wonder if that's true?

Either way it's beautiful! I'm glad I went wtih it:)!
