Our New 2010 S550 !
Hey Guys we Just picked up our new 2010 S550.
It has a pretty cool color that is really difficult to photograph: Designo Platinum Black. I'm sure most of you have seen it, but it is just awesome.
As far as the options go:
S550V4
-DESIGNO Platinum Black Paint
-Premium Leather
-P02 Package
-AMG Sport Plus One Package (AMG Sport w/ 20inch)
-Pano. Roof
-Night View Assist
-Driver's Assistance Distronic
-Rear Sunblinds
-Heated Steering Wheel
I wanted rear seat, but I'm glad I got this one, the paint just makes this car beautiful, and it was better than the lease payment I hoped for
!

Congrats dude, I'm glad you got your dad a car that makes you guys happy.
Those dubs do make a difference, I notice that over the 19" AMG rims.
Also, and no offense at all, but the pics don't do the paint job justice! To me, it looks black!

Honestly, the color is just unreal. And compared to our last S-class it has much much much more gloss; it's a true eye catcher--Lot's of depth to it.
I've honestly been asked atleast once a day-- about the color. Very cool looking, I wish I could photograph it better.
Also, I'm not sure on the validity of this, but according to by dealer the regular S class paint comes with about 5-6 coats of paint, but a Designo Paint job comes with 10-11 coats. I wonder if that's true?
Either way it's beautiful! I'm glad I went wtih it
