Hard Disc Issues
On my new car (2010 S550) I am having a problem with the hard disc. I can *sometimes* record from another source (CD or USB) and sometimes not. When not, the recording process seems to start fine but after a minute or so without sound there is some audio response... the first track starts and stops..skips and strart ..silence...then continues etc etc. After a few minutes I cancel the recording. Disc I/O after that is "funky".
All other fuctions work fine and I can hear and control both USB an CD ports.
I have erased all music data from the disc but the problem still persists. I did not see a way to re-format the user area of the disc.
I beleive it is a hard disk issue and will set up a dealer appointment.
Any comments?
