help with 09 s550 Front factory fog lights problem

help with 09 s550 Front factory fog lights problem
Both fog lights seemed to have melted from behind plastic chrome. The glue has melted out from behind the bulb. It looks like little twigs in the housing. Hapened to the driver side hen a few months later the other side. Anyone else have this?
Replaced both under warranty.

no mods done
All factory. Dealer changed them no prob. I am just if curious if it is a common problem so that after warranty it wouldnt be an issue. Strange that it happened to both sides, I do have them on all the time, I imagine it could only happen from excessive heat and was wondering if it could be more than two defective parts.
