what oil?

Ok I know this is a dumb question and ive gone through the manual a few times but I cant figure out what kind of engine oil is required? All i see is "approved engine oils" but no specs. Can someone kindly tell me what engine oil my car needs? Thanks

I would stay with 0W40 Mobile 1, 5W40 is more suitable for diesel.

Make sure you are using 100% synthetic. Its more expensive but the engine will have significantly less life if you don't.

229.5 spec oil. Most commonly available are Mobil 1 0w40 and German Castrol (aka Syntec 0w30 european formula). Google 229.5 spec for a full list of approved oils.
