Picture of birds eye view?

Looking for what exactly this feature means, in regards to the navigation update.

Thanks

You can browse through the car manual to see navigation display mode in bird's eye view format and the standard formats:

The bird's eye view is also called "3D" view, it gives a more realistic like view with a horizon. Personally I find the traditional "paper map type of a view" better, it does not loose screen area for the sky etc.
