Question S Class Alignment (Dealer Necessary?)

I am getting all new tires installed this week on our 09 S550 Key to the Cure edition. The car has 11k miles on it, but I would like to get an alignment done to insure the new tires wear properly and last a bit longer hopefully. Rear tires are totally worn with 11k miles...

To get a proper alignment done on the S Class would you recommended I only bring the car to the dealer? Can an independent shop make all the proper adjustments on the S?

Thanks!

Only 11K with a new set of tires ?. If the old tires had some un-even wear, I would take it to MB for alignment, because MB had the tools to do it correctly, the other shops can do it, but I am not sure that they do as MB correct spec. If the old tires wear out evenly, I would skip (In SolCal where I live, if my memory serve me well : it's @ $129.00 for 4 wheel alignment), which I did for my car about 2 years ago.
