Dealer Help
I have taken in my car three times for my Parktronic in the past year and today, I am taking it in for service. Well, basically, whenever I drive, I get an error message saying: "Parktronic Disabled, See Operator's Manual" and I hear a really loud beep coming from all the sensors (its the same sound you hear when you get close to something). All three times, the dealer says they can't fix it and I have to live with it. Should I mention the problem today? I hate the fact that this car's Parktronic won't work. BTW, I have the Distronic Plus w/ the Parktronic so there are no visible sensors on the car, only radar plates in the bumpers.

This is strange. It's yr dealer's job to fix these things. What he cannot do he should refer to Mercedes. I say try another dealer. Having said that though, the system on my car responds on occasion to the odd poltergeist...!

What part of the country do you live? You should check the manual or search this board for the limitations on The Radar based Parktronic -- Part of the reason Mercedes went back to bullet hole sensors in 2010 is that The Parktronic knows to disable itself in certain geographic locations (and the manual gives your the coordinates) because it conflicts with licensed frequencies
