There is finally a new version of the navteq maps update as showing on the website. Does anyone have it?

version 10 is out as of this month, but I just don't know if I want to drop $249+tax for it. My last update came for $20 on a rent.

It's just nice to drive down the same street with version 8 and then you see all the side streets and POI's having been update for version 10.

Why wouldn't others download it instead of paying $35? Or did Navteq start to sell their DVDs as downloadable DVD-images?

I've downloaded an update for a Garmin before on a DSL..it took forever and it wasn't free. I think he meant he downloaded the new version into his car.

I also have the new V.10 Navigation DVD for COMAND. Just bought it from the dealer. I loaded the new maps into my '07 S550 and it took about 30 minutes. I'm willing to sell it for $200 including shipping. I have it on ebay for $220, you can check it out if you just search for "Mercedes Navigation DVD 2011 V10 for 07-09 S & CL Class." I'm also willing to rent it to anyone who is local to me in Los Angeles. Just PM me and we can work something out.

In command interface under map version I have:

2010/2011 Version 4.0 (Keep in mind 2010-2013 have different versions completely)

I guess my question is, what changes vs the version I have? Same colors/layout? Just updated maps?

Also, when I car is being CPO'd as this one was 2 days beforehand, should they have updated this?
