Hello all,
Long time reader, first time poster.
I recently did a search on the topic, but couldn't find anything other than the stand alone ipod integration kit, which docks within the glove box.

I was wondering aren't there any implementations that utilize the existing cellphone dock?

No but if you buy the retrofit kit from mb, you can pull the wire up in the armrest instead of the glovebox....
