Multicontour seat option. Need guidance.
MB tech diagnosed and id'd a blown adapter/bladder in passenger seat back, as reason the option would work for 8-10 minutes and then fault out. Replaced with MB product; adapter/bladder had a blown section.
After r/r, the option worked for 10 minutes and faulted out again. Plugged all four lines separately and all four adapters released retained air. Would guess bladders are ok. Clear fault and option works for about 10 minutes and then faults out. Everything defaults and the option will not work/hold air.
Swapped controllers from one seat to the other. Same fault. Driver's seat reads out, "pressure supply current was cut off by and control module stored DS-LF." Logic says it's not the control unit.
Any idea what the code isolates? What needs replacing? Is one of the many solenoids in the adapter kaput? I can literally hear what ends up seeming like a constant "clicking" of a solenoid in the drivers side adapter, prior to shutting down. Starts slow and escalates big time.
I'd love to use this option, but already have $800 in bladder/labor. Out of warr. and not anxious to throw added beau coup bucks at this. Any help dialing into what may be the added culprit is appreciated. Thanks.
