Yes,I have also upgraded my fogs to HID bulb size (H11) color 6000k. Make sure when ordering the HID kit,it is made for mercedes Benz. Our cars need special kits.if you don't get a kit that is made for our cars, you will get error messages, and it will not work properly.

How did you change the parking light bulbs in the headlight? I tried and tried and tried... I think my hands are to big to get in there. I went in thru the wheel well and cant get it to twist off

Yes,that was the hardest part. I used a needle nose pillar to twist the socket.

Quote: Hi Phat- I ordered the LEDs from the same vender and they just blink a few times and dont work. I tried another vender and the same thing... Did your LED side marker bulbs work out of the box or was there something needed to be done to get them to work?
I just got the led lights (same one Phat recommended and posted a link to) and after install they also blink on and off like 5 times or so and then turn off.

All parts were ordered from ijdm, i'll let you know how it goes and if i run into any of the above mentioned issues.

You will still see light. I painted my stock orange ones really dark black, and the light still shows a bit.

That would work. But that's if you don't mind driving around with a "bulb out' error message?

Only the interior bulbs don't throw error codes if you change them to led.

Does anyone know where to get the higher wattage parking bulb that are just super white and not LED. I just got a pair of LED but they're too blue compared to the stock bulbs. I prefer the stock color HID vs going to 6000k.

Have any of you guys changed the corner illuminating bulbs (the ones that turn a little with the steering wheel) from the dull yellow to a brighter white, if so can you post a link of where to purchase or part number.
Thanks

What size bulb do I need for the parking light (the bulbs that are all the way up in the corner) Is there any bulbs out there that will match up with our oem headlight color?

Do you guys know what size the license plate bulbs are? Please let me know. 3W on here a sponsor has great quality bulbs I bought for 4 Merceds cars already but nit sure if they will match up to OEM color on the HID.

There are LED corner lights on ebay that are nice but not ure how those will match up with front headlights as well. I would want them just painted black but if I leave the bulbs in it will show. If I take them out Ill have error MSGs.

I'm gonna guess eurospec bumper (and a hood star delete). I just ordered a set of smoke colored sidemarkers from eBay. On the W220 you just popped the old ones out with the edge of a credit card. Guessing the 221 is the same?
