Dynamic Seat Fault Code(s)
Dynamic Seat Fault Code(s)
Dynamic seat option not working. Adapter (air bladders) replaced on pass. side (a bladder literally blew out the seams) Dlr. computer still showing fault codes 9200 and 9210, which direct to the drivers seat. The 9210 reads---The module carrier for the backrest is defective. (((ECU1_DV_HEX@0100-))) Cluelss on 9200 meaning.
Does it mean the adapter/bladder unit is shot or the electronic control unit is bad? They are two separate items, I know. MB dlr. not helpful or forthcoming.
Anyone guide me? Out of warr. and don't want to buy $600 part, plus labor and still not be fixed. Thank you.

Indie and I jacked around and switched a solenoid from a removed adapter, that had a blown bladder and put in place of the same solenoid on the other (non-leaking) adapter that was chirping/clicking like a po'd cricket.
Seems the computer finally found and accepted the thing. After three "computer freezes/faults" and subsequent fault clearing, the option has chosen to work 100%. It has gone eight days, w/o shutting down.
I had no idea what I was missing. Driver dynamic multicontour option is absolutely sweet. Turn a corner and it backfills the seat side opposite the turn. Man, I hope this holds. Cross your fingers for me.
Thanks to all who shared ideas.
