I have some "cloudiness" in the paint on my Capri Blue S550. On the top of the trunk, the back pillars and some areas of the hood, the paint looks "cloudy" and significantly discolored in relation to the rest of the car. I will try to take some pics later today, but would this be covered under warranty? Thanks in advance for the replies.

Was the car ever in a body shop? sounds like it could be overspray.

Nope it has not been in a bodyshop before

Sounds like it either needs to be polished or the paint wasn't maintained properly and the clear coat may be damaged.

Cloudy can easily be remedied by a mild polish, you can even try it yourself, do not recommend a machine, just use a microfiber towel and mild polish to bring out a new layer of paint to the surface.

This typically happens if you have missed specific areas when the car was waxed.
