Hello,
Both of my cars were recently detailed (the M5 actually just came out of winter storage - hasn't hit the road yet!) and the weather was nice, but a cold 30-degrees only!
So, I decided it was the right time to take a few photos. I'm a poor photographer, so please forgive me.
It's a good thing this isn't the way I earn my living.

The S550 is Designo Graphite Metallic and the M5 is Silver Grey Metallic. The camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T1i Digital SLR.
Thanks for looking, comments very welcome!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I'm very, very happy with my car situation right now!

Nope. The 2006 is more sports car than I need, so I already have excess sporting capacity. Also, I'm not a fan of the new 5-Series styling, as I prefer the previous. And finally, my M5 claims the honor of the M car with the greatest number of cylinders....ever.
Thanks!
Thanks!

You have 2 beautiful toys there.. I have 1 problem tho lol how could you put a front license plate on the 550
Thats 1 deal i always shake on wit my dealers is never a front plate. It kills the front end beauty on any car

Wow, thanks for all of the comments guys. If there are more, keep them coming! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
1. MBS430: Thanks for the compliments.
I've put a few more pictures down below. The S550 does have the "Plus 1" package - those are 20" rims, and they are my first set of 20's.
I really like them because, since they're so huge, it's really easy to reach inside the rim and clean the inside face, even around the brake calipers (they're easy to clean too). I think a rim that is clean inside and out looks far better than one just cleaned on the outside surface. Oh, and they look amazing. ![word](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/werd.gif)
2. C-Dizzy: Yeah, the front plate on the S550 isn't my ideal situation, but I can live with it. See, the S550 is totally "street legal" whereas the M5 has "certain" modifications which place it outside of the law
. Nothing major, just a few things I really like personally. It's comforting to know one that of my cars won't attract attention from the law unless I cause trouble.
Besides, I got a tinted shield and a frame which minimize the consequence of the front plate. I don't really mind the appearance, whereas, on the M5, it would have ruined the front end (IMHO). ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
3. Skrontz: Thanks for the compliment about the plate - I hope you like what's behind the plate as well!!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
4. Super Salami: Nice cars on your end too. I used to have an E46 M3 before I got the M5. The M3 was the car I drove in college, and it was a Carbon Black convertible with the SMG transmission. That was the right car for that time in my life!!!
I'm glad you like my toys! I'm very happy with both of them. ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Pictures: Again, I suck at photography. I realized I didn't take pictures of my light-up door sills, so I included those below. They're pretty sweet, and you always notice them when you open the door. Hard to photograph though. I also took a picture inside the garage with the normal headlights on, and then one outdoors with just the LED DRL's on. Enjoy!
