with your seat belt off, close door, start car, put in reverse, go about 5 mph and open the door

enjoy!!!

I believe it drops the transmission into Park. Not a nice idea to recommend it to others.

actually the brakes engage then park and it is a stupid feature.

I have not tried this or does it apply to the current model only? Does it matter if the seat belt is off? If yes, I don't see any issue, or would you want to get behind the car before brakes are applied, like here:
