![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Just picked up my car today, and I have ordered the following Mandrus Wilhelm wheels:
9x22 ET39
10.5x22 ET42
Tires Falken 255/30-22 and 295/25-22. The car is lowered prox 1.2 inches with Star SDS.
Any experiences with this setup? Will it work "out of the box" or will I run into issues like rubbing who requiers modifications like rolling the fenders?

As long as you got the correct offset, that's the tire size a lot of guys use. also make sure they are the correct hubcentric for our cars or you gotta get hub centric rings.
I have 245/30/22 in the front and I have no rubbing what so ever in the front and 295 rear and I get light rub in the rear, there is a small tab right between your quarter panel and the rear bumper, feel your finger along the edge you'll notice there's a piece of metal that sticks out you need to grind it off, or do it like me and roll it in with a bat.
my front tires are flushed to the fender gap the rear has about 1.25" gap

Yes, the offset and hubcentric "should" be correct since Mandrus (www.mandruswheels.com) is made for Mercedes only. But when looking into many of the threads here, it seems like it's common that there are issues with rubbing etc. And also many uses 245 instead of 255 in front. But the rubbing issues could also be related to agressive offsets I guess?
Yup, I can feel and see the piece of metal sticking out there. Thank you

Wheels mounted. Had to roll the fenders about 5mm in the rear because of a light rub at the left wheel. Otherwise everything's ok. Very nice to drive with the 22's and the lowering done with SDS so I don't think I want to go lower.

Is that mud guard in the front? I'd take them off, they break the clean lines.
but everything else looks good.
