Thankyou lboudreau. Delivery date is 23 nov 2005. However car dealer told me car year is 2007. Is it possible that the car only sold on 2007 while delivery date was 2005?

Delivery date may be the date that the dealer took possession of the car. They may have kept it as a demo and then sold it.

No problem. And actually, now that I took a closer look at your VIN number, that car would most likely be a launch edition S class. So the idea that they used it for a demo vehicle is quite probable.

Something missing from above, which database was the datacard from? This site gives it differently and the codes are more accurate (just the translation is missing or incorrect).

The car is not a MY 2007 except in the US terms, I understand the very first W221 sold in the US was called MY 2007 even if sales started 2006 (in Europe sales started at September time 2005). This one has the 2006 factory MY code: 806 AEJ 06/1/M/X

This must be Japanese market car? Right hand drive model.

Looks like this site is using the same database or database decoder as this one: http://www.neoriginal.ru/cat/mb/

These seem to leave all option codes not mentioned if they do not know the translation which is very bad in my opinion. Codes have all the info and translation can be fixed with a it of help from other sites.

The site you were using however does have a cryptic line at the end of the page, this seems to be the full datacard option code list:

I'm not really using the free site but click the link from post #7 of this thread and you'll find another free Russian site that gives good option codes (but incomplete textual explanations).
