finished product looks great. I think spacers in the rear would top it off.

Chris, do you have instructions/pics on how to swap out the grille? My grille is all pitted, so I ordered a slightly used grille with a new Distronic plate...I just don't know how to install it

Thanks; is there a certain way you need to remove the grille once you have removed the screws? For example, do you have to push in the bottom of the grille like on many other models or does it just slide out?

I believe the last time I changed mine there are 8 or 12 torex type head screws to remove that hold the grille to the bonnett very easy to remove and it just comes off! No twisting or pushing

Chris,

The new bracket for the distronic unit sits much lower for the 2011-2012 grills. If you see the 2007-2011 grills, the distronic shield is much larger and the radar sits dead center. I noticed the new radars have a new bracket that is a least 2-3 inches lower than previous years.
It also looks square unlike the previous 07-10 models which are round.
Do you have to lower the oem distronic radar by modifying the bracket.?
If you do not change the bracket, will it make the distronic inoperative from obstruction on the new shield? The new grill has the shield in the way of the radar.
Please advise....
Thanks again.

to takr off the grille take extra caution not to forget you need to take off the pulling latch prior to taking any single screw on the grille section

Yea. There's another screw behind the latch. You can fit a small wrench there to take it off.

Chris

Car looks awesome. Btw: I received the exhaust tips yesterday, they look great. Thanks for quick shipment.

Looking at your car, I have 2 questions

1. Where did you get headlights from and how much? Was it easy plug and play (like the LED tail lights) or did you have to do some SAM programming to get it to work?

2. On the rear bumper (I recently bought the same), did you paint silver color on the middle portion or is it something else? If you can post a close up of that rear bumper, would appreciate it.

Great effort again, Cheers!
