amg upgrade rear bumper question - new exhaust really needed??

Hi guys,

I have a s550 non amg package year 07.

I want to facelift my car but I have a question on the rear bumper.

Is it possible to do the new rear bumper but keep the existing exhaust and just weld on new tips? I don't want to buy a new amg exhaust if I don't have to.

Looking at the threads of upgrading to amg spoiler package, a new exhaust is needed.

I'm trying to do my conversion without breaking the bank and if I can do without the exhaust that will work better for me. I'd rather spending that 1500-2000 on new led headlights instead.

Thanks.

You can have any exhaust/muffler shop weld you on quad tips to fill in the space on the new bumper. You don't need to get the oem amg exhaust.

Yup. But itll look better with the amg bumper with the quad exhaust openings. Just like the S65 bumpers you're looking at.

If you look closely, the replica tips are smaller?
