Socal: Telematic update

Does anyone which dealership / who (service adviser / tech) knows and is willing to do the Telematic update on the S550 in Socal? I have a 2007 S550 and want to update the Telematics, so when I update the navigation later on I can get the 3D map and traffic info.

Seems like a lot of service advisers they have no idea what this is and some aren't willing to do it at all (giving excuses, etc...). I know it can be done and I want to get it done smoothly without going through too much hassle.

Thanks!

Just tell them that your navi freezes at times. And they should do an update for you. Once it's done. You can can load up the map disc, and you're good to go. You can even load the map disc first before they do the update.

sigh, believe me, if it's that easy... my feeling is they just either don't know anything so don't want to deal with it, or they are just too lazy. they say they need to reproduce the problem first, or they can try to connect the car to computer and see if "something is wrong" etc...

i just think it's bs especially when i am willing to pay to get this done (car is out of warranty)...

Try Anaheim/Caliber. They have performed some telematic updates for me.
