Transmission stuck in gear today
At one point when I slowed down to 30mph after driving about 20 min or so, I noticed that when I sped to 60mph the RPMs were at 3K and it did not shift. I tried to shift using the paddles and though the gear number changed in the display, it didn't shift at all to 4th or 5th gear.
No amount of speeding up or down helped, so after I stopped I turned the car off and on and then the transmission worked properly the rest of the drive. Does this sound like that bulletin a number of you already needed to bring your cars in for?
It's hard to describe, but even at constant speed something feels "weird" like something is not smooth, or the trans is causing slight resistance somehow even when the car is not shifting....it's very subtle but I can feel a difference.

Transmission Valve. Many people in here had that issue including me, only way to find out is to go to the dealer. Its a common issue with these cars. But just in case prepare for $2000+ repair bill if you dont have warranty.

The transmission goes into 'limp home' mode when something odd happens - sounds like that is what you are experiencing. It resets itself if you turn the car off. The dealer can pull codes from this but only for a short time after it happens.

I had same exact issue few month ago and it was transmutation valve. cost at dealer was 1,600 parts and labor.

I'm under warranty....do you think they will tell me they "can't replicate the issue" and send me on my way, especially if they are no longer able to pull a code? Guess it's time to start *****ing and hollering
