color match

Hi, Rudy,
Just noticed, your car color looks pretty much the same as my car, is it called blue met? after painting your plastic bumpers ,did your color well match between bumpers(plastics) and front/quarter fenders(metal), sinece paint on different material will turn out different results.one body shop told me , black or white color will be the best and easy to match and how about your color?
thanks in advance

I suggest you take out the resistors, and tap the DRL's into the side bumper lights.

led head lights

is there any way to insert or stick led strips into 2008 s550 head light housing instead of replace the new head lights, one fabicator told me the housing never been sealed well, once its opened. bad results always shown under raining day. any smart way ? really appreciate any response.

Leave them stock or just get new face lift led's factory lights if the budget permits..i wouldn't do it because it will never look close to stock leds and you' will destroy the lights...

I am doing this on my 2008 s550. I got a oem front bumper cover, bumper cover grilles, front grill, and LEDs. I need to know the remaining parts I need. You mentioned an energy absorber and wheel wells. Do you know the part numbers for those? I want to make sure I get everything I need to do this. Thanks.

sorry for bumping an old thread. I noticed that only the running lights/side markers and fogs are on in the original picture. I'm wondering if that's because the light switch was in the parking light position, or was it on Auto? If it was on Auto, that means that the OP had DRL enabled and his parking lights and for lights were his DRL. On my car, when I enable DRL, my low beam xenons are on constantly. I'd rather have my parking lights and fog lights act as my DRL. Anyone ever get that coded to work like so?
