Question led bulbs arent working

So I installed led bulbs in my fogs, high beams and turn illuminators. the fogs were sent with a harness, so they are working fine. the high beams flicker and turn off, and the curve illuminators dont turn on at all. Has anybody else had this problem?

Sounds like you need resistors for those bulbs also. Also have you tried flipping the bulbs around? Because some of them bulbs don't show which side is +/-? Btw, all the bulbs you change outside the car to led. You either would need specially made ones( error free) LEDs. Or you would need to add in resistors. The way the electrical system works for the outside lightings. Is they send a volt like current to all the bulbs to check if the bulbs are on or not. And since the led bulbs are not the same voltage, the system will throw a message saying 'bulb out'. You can change the interior bulbs w/no problems. Just the outside bulbs that you need to use error free led bulbs. Since they have built in resistors already.

I believe the issue is that i need the resistor harness for each bulb. The fogs came with a harness and before i attached it, the bulb would flicker and then turn off. Now the high beam was doing the exact same thing and the curve illuminator wouldnt turn on at all. Im assuming i'll have to attach a resistor harness to each of the other bulbs. I may just leave the stock ones in since that resistor gets really hot and there isnt much space around the headlight where i could potentially mount it safely.

i will just say that using extra resisters can be pretty dangerous because of the heat. it can melt wiring and other components

personally i wouldn't put in anything led unless the whole part is engineered to provide the right overall resistance value

yeah if that is the case im just going to stick to using the stock bulbs for the high beams and the curve illuminating bulbs.

So i contacted ijdm and i do indeed need the decoder harness, but that is a risk since it would be sitting way too close to wiring and the headlight and could melt something. So I will be returning the 2 sets of H7 bulbs and the amber turn signals.

I did however install the bright white led bulbs in each of the doors, the license plate lights (which were a bloody hassle to get to but look great) the parking lights and in the side bumper reflector which is a smoked out piece now. Looks fantastic!!!!
