We would be happy to purchase one for you and review... the key words in your post are: inexpensive and same quality as factory. These don't go together. We found the original manufacturer of the factory CCD sensor and carry it now. However, our cost is several times the cost of this camera. So I doubt it is of similar quality, but I would be happy to review it for you.... never know.

Tell me about the installation difficulty, aside from the wiring job from the command unit to the inner trunk deck. Is there any software required because they're making it sound like a $30 plug and nothing else.

That is pretty misleading.... The answer is "it depends". Some head units do have a Fakra connection for a camera (which the one in the picture does not have - problem 1), some don't.
If the head unit DOES have a Fakra connection, then it is either a SDS activate or engineering menu activate.
If the head unit DOES NOT have the Fakra camera connection, then it requires something like our Video In Motion interface to make it happen.

Anyone know of a professional installer in the Pennsylvania area. I'm looking for quality OEM type work. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated..
