'10 s550 - mirrors not folding back out
got a call from my mother today because the mirrors on her car wouldn't fold back out after starting the car...
she had driven a few yards out of the driveway and the mirrors still didn't fold out... she has keyless go and from my understanding, after you open the doors which also disarms the car, then the mirrors fold back out...
she started telling me that the radio didn't come on like usual either... and while on the phone with her i heard the radio come on by itself... she said she tried several times to start and stop the car and the mirrors wouldn't fold out...
i then suggested that she stop the engine, get out of the car... arm the car with the remote, and then disarm the car with the remote and get in the car and start it up... she said it worked... she was a little freaked out but overall was ok with the rest of the drive... she even made a stop for an errand and when she got back to the car it worked fine...
she did mention during the start and stop fiasco when she was trying to get it to work, the clock started spinning around and landed somewhere around 3 o'clock... she called me about 9:45am...
so other than thinking her car has been possessed... what could be the cause?

nope... it's been on since the car was purchased and never touched... it started working again as explained above and hasn't had any problems since.
definitely weird... when it goes in for service i'll mention it... but it hasn't happened again...
