Just had my front headlamp replased on my s550, and now at dusk get an error message which states that" intellegent headlamps inoperative".

Any ideas?

Which MY is it(facelift or pre-facelift)and which options do you have on your vehicule:

There are different choices in headlights on the pre-facelift W221 (afaik)only .There is: plain ones, xenon or halogen ,the ones with or without 'curveassist'; with nightvision without nightvision.This means different types of units ,have you got the right one and is everything connected correctly ??
Quite a difference in pricing of the units too :the 'full option' ones cost double the amount of the standard ones over here.
