Head Rest Removal w221

Does anyone have a .pdf or good instructions on how to remove and reinstall the driver and passenger headrest with power chords?

That is SO simple...Just losen the 2 screws in the bottom of the back cover. Drag it down and then you losen the 2 locksprints on the headrest then just pull them up.

@Chris, what that really means is that I will have to take it too the dealership..LOL

hey buddy hope all is well! question... I purchased one of those wood headrest hangers that slide over the post of the headrest... do I have to the same for this? ... (Ugh I need need more coffee this doesnt even make sense to me)

On the bottom part of the back of the seat there are two screws to remove.

Carefully pull of the back cover off. This will expose the powered headrest height motor to which where the 2 headrest post pop into.

Lean your seat way back for clearance, gently tug on the headrest to loosen the, from the motor.

Opposite for reverse but be sure when you slide the headrest back in that you get both of the post to sit directly in the locations on the motor. If you decide not to remove the back cover, you will be guessing if the headrest got in their respective locations. If you force it in without lining them up, you can accidentally break the delicate plastic on the motors post mounts.

I have an early '07 with the crappy headrest I dont think this would work for me
