Exclamation 2010 w/ ESP, ABS, BAS Inoperative

Hey Guys,

On Friday of last week, my 2010 S550V4 started throwing a few yellow warnings at me in the instrument cluster. Basically, my ESP, ABS, and BAS are inoperative. I feel a little nervous driving the car, and it's a bit ridiculous because my wife made me drive our family around in her stupid Lexus all weekend. I'm still driving my S550 while alone.

Anyway, it's going to the dealer for diagnosis (and hopefully repair) on Wednesday. Has anyone else had this error? If so, how was it remedied?

Thanks!

I did. Turned out it was a bad sensor.

Cool thanks. It turns out my cruise control is also inoperative, which was fun today because I drove 200 miles on the motorway.

Can you be more specific about which sensor was malfunctioning please?

Thanks.

EDIT: I do NOT have Distronic Plus. It seems from the picture that your car might...

It was one of the rear wheel abs sensor or something like that? If you're still under warranty you're good. Don't worry to much about it. These car are so sensitive it's not even funny!

Yeah, thanks. I'm not worried about the warranty part, I'm good there. More for my own curiousity, and so I can suggest this to the service manager tomorrow. I don't keep S-Class cars outside of their warranties because I don't budget for unforeseen repairs.

Thanks for the update. I'll post the diagnosis from my M-B dealer tomorrow if they tell me. Hope it's something they keep in stock at the dealer - lately, it seems like they have to order in everything for the car - whatever happened to stocking parts?!?!
This is the second problem I've had in 24,000 miles since 10/2010. The first was a bad ignition coil in Cylinder #7. Caused a rough idle. Not a long enough list of problems to make me think poorly of the car though! Still really really like it.

That's just ashame hearing that from such a pricey car! Well I hope you get all the problems solved. I had a few problems here and there and got that resolved quickly.

Follow up:
In my particular case, it was an "RPM Sensor" which had failed and was replaced under warranty.
