pops just got a 2012 s550, but split view doesn't play videos?

pops just got a 2012 s550, but split view doesn't play videos?

is it disabled for US, California? just the radio works with it. Video works on both sides parked then the no video in motion screen pops out. I figured the video would work for the passenger with this option. MB doesn't stated this clearly on it's website.
we came off early on a 2010 lease to get a into a good deal 18 month lease untill the restyled 2014 comes in!

how do you change the function on the passenger side screen. using the command knob changes the drivers view screen

tried and it was only changing radio stations. it wouldn't let me switch out of that function.

I know for some states, even if you order Split-View, it's disabled if front TV screens aren't allowed by law. The dealer should be able to reactivate it for no charge.
