Dynamic Seat Access
Does anyone know how to gain access to the air chambers in the back rest? Every time I corner, the dynamic seat makes a noise as the side chambers inflate. I want to see what's going on, but I don't know how to gain access to the air chambers...
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I have been living with this noise since 40K Miles and the dealer won't even acknowledge that there's a noise coming from the seat.

Anyone get answers on this? The bladders seem to be an ongoing issue and dealer replacement is cost prohibative (at least for me, anyway).
I am a little concerned to start taking it apart "experimentally" because of the airbag proximity....how do you disable the airbags for work on the seats (or dash or steering wheel for that matter)?

Both passenger and driver seat Dynamic option would not work. Out of warranty, I have a trusted independent.
The indie had software to clear the faults. Upon clearing, the multicontour and dynamic would work....then after a short time fault, collapse and a nice option was useless.
I paid the price for an MB dlr. to confirm via diagnostic. Asked about replacing cost. Wow. Replacement through it was close to $2800.
Being a cheap sucker, I dug around. First, I was comfortable the inflator pump was still good, so that was eliminated. Second, I went on line and found legit MB dlrs. selling legit MB parts under another name for tons off retail. I bought the adapters direct. My indie, who is pretty skilled, said he'd install.
It's not simple. The seat back panel gets removed, then the entire seat "skin"/leather needs removing, as the adapter is between the leather and the seat frame. It's a one piece unit, plug and play. I can speak to ONLY the seat back adaptor. There is a separate unit in the seat cushion.
I won't cite sources here. I will try to help via PM's, if folks seek more info on what's involved. For what it's worth, I got two new seat back adapters, plus labor done for $1300. Not free, but surely less than dealer.
I am in Wisconsin, so install cost will vary, but I can lead to a good price on the adapters.
Good luck.

Yes. The adapater is the structure upon which the bladders are attached, which goes between the seat back and the seat leather covering.
Welcome to Mercedes. The exploded parts manuals identify it as "adapter". The Benz SA called it something else, which threw me off for weeks.
To the others. Unless I was very sound mechanically and comfortable removing and replacing the entire seat back leather, I'd consider a professional. Just my opinion.
