Airmatic issues. Front suspension won`t rise

Hello. I have purchased a W221 2006 with regular airmatic which had an issue upon purchase. I had to have it picked up by a lorry as it was sitting at the bottom of its suspension travel.

The cars fron is sitting at the bottom of its height at both sides. The rear end functions fine. At first, we thougth the issue might be from the valveblock, so we changed this unit. The swap for a new unit did not help. We tried to undo the the airmatic hose from the struts, and no air is coming out of the hoses at either side.
There are no signs of leaks, and even with a leak, there would besom reaction / air coming from the hoses upon being disconnected.
There are no "Warning, car to low" mesages in the display.
What could cause this? As stated, both side are having the same issues. Could this be the height level sensors? I heard rumors that they interact, and that if one fail, the second side will still keep the height on both sides? Perhaps the second one has failed as well, letting the car sit on the ground thinking its level is fine due to the busted sensors? Thank you for any advice.

Sounds like level sensors if there is no warning at the cluster. Odd though if both sides are misbehaving simultaneously.

You should diagnose the car properly with Star before throwing parts (you can purchase your own tool at the cost of swapped parts that were good).

Look at fuses...$4 for a fuse beats dealer diagnostic fees ... Worth a shot...should be a message as Diesel Benz correctly states, but maybe sensor fuse?
