I'm new hello everyone!
Is there a hood ornament with the blue mercedes benz writing made to fit correctly on my car? The only one I see out there is the OEM replacement
with no writing. I bought one they said was the one to fit my car but it doesn't sit flush with the hood

the base of the hood ornament, the part that sits into the groove in the hood is just a bit bigger on the the replacement emblem. I can get an OEM one any where but the OEM one only comes with a plain chrome base. I've replaced the ornament on a couple of my old S benzs with the one that has the blue MB writing on them (1999, 2006) and didn't have any issues, they fit into the hood perfectly. I'm looking to replace the plain chrome one on my 2007 and can't find the one with the blue writing. I know it's just a minor thing but i'm a picky *******.

I believe the plain one is all you get since the wreath is on the grille.
They don't make those in OEM. But you can find the aftermarket ones. To me I think the one you have looks better because the smaller one that you're talking look too small? Im using the bigger one right now on my car.

Not talking about the emblem, talking about the ornament. I gotta have the ornament I steer the car by way of it. If it's tilted a little my car pulls to the left.

You must be referring to this emblem . I haven't measured up sizes or if this one will fit in my car's hood but either emblem looks same size

Order that part from an 06 e350. I tried that from my moms car. And it sits how you want it.
