What does the AMG kit add to the S500/S550?
Ever since the facelift in 2010, I don't know what the differences are between the S500/S550 with the AMG kit and the ones without it. I mean, all versions have a visible exhaust and the bumpers seem the same too. Prior to 2010, there was a clear difference with the AMG kit.
Does the AMG kit in 2010+ only add AMG wheels?

There is no "AMG Package" in MY2010 and later models. There is a "Sport Package." You lose the chrome trim around the front and on the sides of the rear bumper for some plastic, get criss-crossed side panels and bigger rims.
