W220, 2003 S500 4Matic, rear suspension explode after replacement of Airmatic compres

Hello!!

I took my car to the dealership to replace my airmatic compressor that was under warranty. When the car was admitted to the shop, l was told that, in order to obtain a free replacement of the airmatic compressor, the airmatic system needed to be checked for leak and l was told that of there is no anomaly on the airmatic system, no leaks that msy hsve cause the airmatic compressor to go out, the warranty will be granted and the compressor will be replaced free of charge as prpvided by the warranty.
After checking for leaks and potential airmatic components defect that may have cause the compressor to go out, using the Mercedes Benz Star diagnosis equipment, no leak was identified on the vehicle, the result of the test was "" compressor does not acuate"" the warranty was granted znd the defective compressor was replaced free of charge. After replament, the technicien re test the airmatic system with the new airmatic compressor and the Metcedes Benz Star diagnosis attached to the vehicle. Result: no defect, no leak. The trchnician proceed with visual inspection for a second time of the airmatic components; struts, no leak, lines, no leak, valve, valve block; no leak, compressor hose; no leak. The vehicle was properly leveled. The technician test drive the vehicle, took it to wash and brought it for delivery. When the service advisor brought the car out for release, the car was too hight, the compressor was running mon stop, suddently the a series of pzzz started to be heard from the rear of the vehicle, rear left and rear right strut, the rear struts suddently explode in front of the employee. The non stop running airmatic compressior after the struts explosion started to make a rattle noise itself and explod. After review of the technician repair report, it doesnt that the airmatic relay and the aurmatic fuse were replaced. Do you think that the compressor over inflated the struts and cause thrm to explod. Thank you for your responses and duscussion on this subject.
