Can you say wheel geometry and metal fatigue ?
1st the manufacturer of the vehicule has spent quite some time and effort to get it right :engineering again, is always a compromise in what you want to achieve and what you can achieve ..
2nd because you are going to exceed the design specs ,chances are ,that you will excessively strain bearings ,bolts and suspension parts to the point that these will either wear prematurely, or break in an uncontrolled manner.
In short ; personally I think that for the sake of looks you sacrifice a hell of a lot of safety let alone driving characteristics.

Go for it. Spacers don't really harm anyone and 10mm is fairly conservative.

If you posed the same question on the C AMG board you'll get a lot of replies from people who are already running spacers and as long as you go with a quality company and quality components (H&R) you really shouldn't be worried about it.

Just make sure you get longer bolts also. I've used H&R wheel spacers before and had no problems. GL

How can i determine what thickness spacer i need? the wheels i got are 9" front and 10.5 rear running 235s and 295s. I want the tire to be flush with the fender, but not sticking out at all.
