S550 2008, tran oil and brake fluid change DIY ??
Hello everyone, my car had 46000 mils on it, should I do the tran oil and brake fluid change? can I do it myself? I just did oil and filter change last weekend using the pump, so easy it take around 15 min (oil little hot so it run faster). Any advises will be appreciated!!

Transmission fluid should have been changed at 40,000 miles. This is a major task that should not be performed unless you have all of the required equipment along with a lift rack. I strongly advise this be done by a dealer or indy that is willing to perform all of the required steps listed in the procedure published by Mercedes. The torque converter fluid must also be replaced at the same time. Get this done as soon as possible. There have been major transmission failures believed to be caused by failure to change the fluid.
