My car wont pair my galaxy not 2 with it.. it always says it detected and registered but the bars on top right never light up and it never does anything else...also if I do get it working does it stream music or just phone calls?

I have the same problem with my 2008 S550..I can pair my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as well as my iPhone 5, but no functionality is enabled for both phones. I encountered a thread somewhere that says the car's telematics have to be updated to recognize newer phones. so off to my dealer I am today and will post back for updates..

The S-Class, prior to the 2013 MY does not support Bluetooth audio streaming. Bluetooth is only for phone calls.

I have the Bluetooth puck pictured in these instructions, they work for me as long as you follow them to the letter, including having the engine running!

Sorry, no Bluetooth audio streaming, though it's on the E class and C class in recent years.

I have successfully paired a Samsung Galaxy SII and many previous Android versions, and an iPhone 4S. All provided address book and phone functionality.
