would you all experts please advice about this MB. i am totally noob to cars and MB.
i was looking at s55 but gave up and then an SL 55 was sold off to someone else.
would greatly appreciate your input on price, milage, features , etc.

The S (and E too for that matter) are not cars I would consider purchasing used without a CPO or rock solid 3rd partty warranty. Repairs can be costly and I am not talking about freak engine meltdowns, but, just normal wear and tear items are often shockingly expensive. $1000+ per shock for example.

This listing shows only one key for this vehicle. Be advised that another key will cost several hundred dollars.
One major item to check which could be a deal breaker. The transmission fluid should have been replaced around 40,000 miles. It this service was not performed, I would pass on this vehicle.
