Well i purchased a s550 a few months ago...everything has been ok until the other day when i realized the passenger side seat was fully inflated by the shoulder area no where else, it is all the way to the lowest setting (completely deflated), if i turn it up then quickly turn it back to lower it...it will release air..but will always stay fully inflated...it has been like this for the last 2 weeks...

my car is in the shop now with the same problem, they told me they are replacing the control module for the seat.

This is a $1000 repair and unless MBUSA Goodwills it, you will end up getting stuck with it.
It is not covered by the CPO either. My driver's side seat went out 3 days after the original factory warranty expired. Luckily, MBUSA covered the repair. It was over a $1000 including labor and tax.

My warrenty covered the cost, total for drivers seat and radio control module in the trunk $ 2800. I had to pay the first $100

Just got the car back after 2 weeks, they had to get the part from Germany. The good part is that they replaced the whole seat with new..
Works perfectly now
