Disconnecting battery in rear trunk
My w221 driver side window has recently just stopped working, according to older threads the fix to this is a software update, I figured if I kill all the power in the car let it sit and do a reset, this might be a possible solution if its software related.
Disconnecting the battery under the hood would still leave the car with power, meaning I would have to also disconnect the one in the trunk.
Anyone know if this is first okay to do to the car (it won't result in error messages) and how to do it? Just the way it's hidden away makes me think mercedes doesnt want us disconnecting it.

Why not pull off the fuse for the door control module rather than disconnecting the battery. The control module would loose power equally but other systems would not be affected.
