Where to start? The Italians or the Germans?
S550 questions

I am pondering trading my X5 for an 07-08 S550 4matic (needs sport pack). Do any of you know if white over black interior was an option at MB? I keep seeing loads of white over tan cars, but no white on black.

Cheers,
Ricky

Oddly enough an '09 went through Manheim Denver today. Pretty rough for only 2X,000 miles. No sport pack either. Certainly something to ponder over the summer. I don't know if it would fit in the garage--the (seemingly) shorter 220 barely squeezes in.

For whatever it's worth, I was checking Manheim for months and nothing met my criteria, ended up going through cars.com and having my car shipped to me.

Funny you mention that. I was on both, and quite pleasantly surprised how many listings are on cars.com--more than I thought there would be anyway. In truth, I probably won't be looking seriously until October/November. Too depressing to think about winter vehicles when summer is here at last. All these people jabbering how nice it is having four seasons? Well, they can have them. I'll take the California seasons any day (comfortable warm, and comfortable cool with the occasional drizzle). In reality, we only get two seasons here in Colorado: road construction and winter.
