S550 vs 750i

Here's what I came up with.
Reasons for the LS460:
1. if you want a pretty good CPO warranty 7 years 100k (or something like that)
2. Get mistaken for a Camry or any other other Toyota at a quick glance (they all seem to share the same body style just stretched a little IMO)
3. Smooth quiet ride and boring.
4. Prefer touch screen navigation and almost everything else (which I prefer over the Idrive that the MB copied from the BMW)
Reasons why I got the S550:
1. Looks better in every aspect
2. I can feel the road much better too smooth tends to be boring
3. Air suspension so I can drop the car with very little effort
4. The S550 truly look like a 6 figure car
5. Definitely has more power
I use the s class as the family cruiser, have 3 car seats in the rear so now looking for a 3rd row, hope to keep the s or trade it in for the GL (made in USA). :0
i also like the look of S class over 7 series. last good looking 7 was in 2001
I purchased the S550 by the way...
But had seriously considered the 750i and the 750Li for more leg room for rear passengers. I loved the twin-turbo v8, didn't like the "cramp" driver area. Felt constricting, I had no elbow room to move around. I also didn't like the Sport package 20" tires were Only run-flats and a nail in one of those tires means a new tire every time. Not often does a nail puncture, but if it does it's at least $400-500 per tire to replace. Also liked the HUD, very quiet interior and the integral steering package.
I chose the S due to its overall appearance, a cleaner interior, felt more classy, love the massaging seats and pano roof. I'm missing a few other options but i am content with what I drive now. And the wife liked it more over the 7.
Whether an S or a 7 . . It is a good choice. To each their own, if it makes you happy, it is the right choice.
