HELP!Noise when pressing gas or brake.
My s550 started making this like jet engine taking off sound after a heavy rainfall.I can hear it only when I press gas or brake at any speed,it's coming from the drivers side when you open the hood.No check engine light came on,no faulty codes,it's shifting perfectly,it has power to drive.Went to two shops,changed the belt and pulleys,noise is still there.Any suggestions?

I recently changed out my rack and pinion. Had a leak for about a month. Always monitored fluid level and never allowed it to run low. As of a few days ago I'm hearing a vibration noise that goes on w ng en I'm driving intermittenty and stops when I press the brake. This coupled with a "rubbery whoosh noise I reported in another thread. Does anyone know what the power steering pump pulsation damper do exactly? Are these symptoms of it failing?
